We are looking for Ocean Heroes to join the Network.

A call to action for the Ocean

The Irish Ocean Literacy Network is currently seeking to grow its membership for 2019/20. In the last few months the IOLN activities have included a nationwide #WeAreIslanders campaign and a large network meeting in the Marine Institute with key note talks from Dr. Easkey Britton and Kevin O’Sullivan. Our Steering group also facilitated a Day Of Inspiration workshop at DCU which was a great day for networking and learning about marketing campaigns.

All our members have a clear and consistent love for the ocean, they are from a range of backgrounds, but we all work together to grow our understanding of ocean literacy.

Ethos of the members
Our Network members worked really well on this collaboration #WeAreIsanders Campaign.

When you join the network you will receive a welcome pack detailing how the IOLNetwork works, goals, ethos etc.

All members are invited to attend regular networking events with guest speakers or some form of informal learning workshop.

All members can avail of the collaborative nature of the network, need help with a project? Ask the network! Need to reach a wider audience? Ask the network!
