Waves of Change calls for artists on a Ocean Literacy art project

Waves of Change is calling artists to be part of a one-month residence in Galway, in March 2025, at Watershed Studio Art Residency.

This research project, funded by the Marine Institute, is led by the Marine & Freshwater Research Centre of the Atlantic Technological University (ATU) in Galway, in collaboration with the Galway Atlantaquaria.

This project explores Ocean Literacy, based on three main themes: biodiversity loss, climate change and ocean pollution. This Science Communication and Ocean Literacy project are bringing scientific information to local audiences, with the aim of raising awareness and promote change at local levels. The call for artists is one of the activities from the project, where synergies between science and art are explored to achieve the aim of the project.
