The Irish Ocean Literacy Network was formed in 2016.
It consists of members from a diverse range of backgrounds including NGO’S, Public/ Government, attraction, academic, media and general interest.
The IOLN goals include creating a membership of Ocean Literacy Champions on the island of Ireland, who collaborate, share and co-ordinate marine outreach and Ocean Literacy projects, while providing a platform for engagement between stakeholders.
It should be noted that the IOLN is not a lobbying organisation and that is main focus is on networking and sharing ideas between its vibrant and active members.
IOLN membership forms are reviewed by the IOLN steering group at IOLN steering group meetings and you will be notified of your full membership once this has been approved.
